I'm willing to fight, and raising my FTP and improving my climbing ability will be the primary focus of my off-season training this winter (my goals this summer remain: getting race experience, raising FTP and improving sprint form).
Looking around at the A's and B's in the LCW races, I'm a decent sprinter, but no monster (like some of the guys who specialize in match sprints on the track). That said, maybe I'm light enough that, if I train for it, I'd be able to hang on over the hills (mercifully, I live in Ontario... I doubt any amount of training would help me in real mountains). And then I get to sprint against lightweights... thats the theory, anyways ;)
If you decide to do some of the midweek races, let me know. Might be fun to drive up for one of those and race against some new faces.
